Area activities

The villa is situated in the hills above Peyia and Coral Bay, close to Pikni Forest, a picturesque area abundant with flaura, fauna and native trees such as juniper and terebinths.

A traditional Cypriot taverna is located opposite the villa.

The village of Kathikas is located within a less than 5 minute drive from the villa. Kathikas is part of the Laona project, a rural regeneration and ecotourism project helping to introduce the concept of agrotourism to five villages on the border of the proposed Akamas reserve area. Located in the heart of wine country, Kathikas is one of the most attractive villages in the area, well known for its great many vineyards, grapes being its main product and their cultivation the main occupation of the villagers. Kathikas even has its own village winery which offers free wine tasting! A selection of local tavernas are located within the village of Kathikas.

A wider selection of restaurants and amenities can be found in the village of Peyia being within a 10 minute drive from the villa. Peyia wakes up at night as the evening air cools and taverna tables groan under the weight of fresh food, the village centre comes alive with the sounds of animated conversation. Peyia village amenities include traditional tavernas, restaurants with international theme nights, wine bars, coffee shops, well stocked supermarkets, delicatessens, a bakery, pharmacy and banks.

Head down towards the coast to discover Coral Bay the well known beach resort for the Paphos district. This family oriented area has become a lively resort with plenty to offer in terms of amenities and activities. The resort boasts two sandy beaches, the busier of the two being the popular Coral Bay Beach approximately 10 kilometres away. This sandy horseshoe shaped bay is honoured with a Blue Flag of the European Union. Sunbeds and umbrellas are available for hire, watersports are on offer and there are two beach cafés providing refreshments. A little further along the coast is the quieter of the two beaches at Corallia Bay. Continue still further along the coast and you reach the natural rock caves of the area know locally as Sea Caves, an area which provides ideal snorkelling territory and is popular with local scuba diving schools.

The further coastal resorts of Polis and Latchi are both located within a 25 minute drive of the villa and both feature coarse sand and shingle beaches with sunbeds and umbrellas for hire and restaurants/snack bars providing refreshments.
Polis is the principal town for the northwest region, huddled around a pedestrianised square where visitors and locals gather in the mornings to enjoy a coffee and watch the world pass by and in the evenings to dine at one of the wide selection of restaurants, tavernas and cafes which radiate out from the centre.

A little further along the coast from Polis is the seaside resort of Latchi with its recently opened 200 berth marina. Here you will find an array of inviting sea-front tavernas with a superb selection of fresh fish and seafood served daily. Just beyond Latchi you will find the well known 'Baths of Aphrodite' and for nature lovers the protected Akamas Peninsular an area particular suited to walkers and adventurers who can explore the many criss-crossed nature trails.

Paphos Town, approximately 25 kms away from the villa, was once the capital of the island and is now included in the official UNESCO list of cultural and natural treasures of the world's heritage. The remains of villas, palaces, theatres, fortresses and tombs mean that the town is of exceptional architectural and historic value. The well preserved mosaics and the Tombs of the Kings are probably the biggest cultural draw with further archaeological discoveries continually being made. Ano Pafos on the cliff is the main administrative centre and residential district while Kato Pafos, by the sea, is the main tourist area built around the harbour and medieval port.

There are 4 golf courses; Tsada Golf Course, Secret Valley Golf Course, Aphrodite Hills Golf Course and Elea Golf Course all within approximately a 20 to 45 minute drive from the villa.

Pricing terms:

Payment 

-    A deposit equal to 30% of the total rental cost is required to be paid at the time of booking in order to confirm the reservation. A confirmation email will be sent to the visitor/guest.

- The remaining amount is payable 2 months before arrival. If the remaining amount is not payable on the requested date, (2 months before the arrival date) then the booking is automatically cancelled and there is no refund of any amount paid.

Please Note: For bookings made within 2 months of the booking start date, payment in full is required.

The following forms of payment are accepted through our website:                  - Credit / Debit Card -   Bank Transfer /deposit 

Prices include:

- Wi-fi /- Satellite TV/ - welcome basket / bed linen, bathroom and pool towels/

- air-condition units / the use of electricity up to 300 Kilowatt per week / the use of 20 tons of water per week.

Prices do not include:

Central heating which is 20.00 euro per day.

-spa package / the use of hot tub jacuzzi is extra 150.00 euro per week. 7 seat hot tub jacuzzi that needs to be prebooked as it requires 24h to be ready.

Notes: Security deposit of €500.00 is payable on arrival by credit / debit card and is fully refundable after departure after a checkout of the property.

Terms & Conditions

Terms & Conditions on Holiday Villas

-   A reservation is valid and confirmed once the payment is done by the Visitor and is accepted by our agency. A confirmation email will always be send to the Visitor. 

-All holiday villas have a minimum stay of 7 nights.                                            -Hills view villa has a minimum stay of 5 nights.

 -No parties or events are allowed at the villas without the prior consent of Paphos Luxury villas.

-No pets are allowed.

 -The number of persons occupying the property must not exceed the number agreed at the time of the booking. “Paphos luxury villas” reserves the right to refuse entry to the entire party if this condition is not respected or evict the guests from the villa if the number of persons occupying the property exceeds the stated maximum amount at anytime.

 -    Arrival and Departure:    Arrival time: from: 3:00 pm  

                                                Departure time: 11:00 am

Failure to vacate all or part of the property by the requested time may result in further charges. 

Prior to your arrival you will be given details of the person waiting for you at the property or details on key collection and who your contact person will be during your stay.

Entry to the villas:

Once you have a set time of arrival, you will need to get in touch to let us know when you are estimated to arrive at your chosen accommodation. Generally will then be met and welcomed at the property on your arrival by a member of our group, to be handed the keys and show you the property. In case you are arriving late at night or early in the morning, we will inform you with a code to use, as all our villas have a key box at the entrance with a secure code.

 Payment

- Cancellation Policy: 

- All cancellations must be made in writing/ by email at: This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. . Cancellation takes effect on the day we receive your email/notice. Proof of posting is not proof of receipt. Please ensure that you have received written confirmation by email from our agency on your cancellation.

-In the event of a cancellation or a no show of the guest, there is no refund of any amount paid. Amendment of a booking is not possible.

-In the event of the remaining amount of a booking is not payable on the requested date, (2 months before the arrival date) then the booking is automatically cancelled and there is no refund of any amount paid nor the option of amend your booking.

If you cancel your booking or not be able to complete the full payment of your booking, the following cancellation charges apply:

• More than 60 days prior to arrival= loss of deposit
• Less than 60 days prior arrival= loss of total amount

Liability and Insurance: 

We highly recommend having travel insurance before making a booking in order to able to claim from your insurance company in case of cancellation from your behalf for any reason.

 -  Our agency does not accept liability for any personal injury, loss of life, damage, loss or accident to personal property. Visitors are advised to ensure their own insurance covers any loss or damage to personal property during their stay and to ensure personal and travel insurance is taken out.

If we change or cancel your holiday

It is very unlikely that we will have to make any changes to your accommodation arrangements. However, if we are forced to cancel your booking for reasons outside our control we will offer you alternative comparable accommodation at no extra cost to you. If we are not able to provide a suitable replacement property we will refund any sums already paid by you in respect of the accommodation. If the alternative villa we will offer to you does not meet your criteria, we will refund you of any amount paid. There are no further circumstances for which PLV agency will be liable for a refund.

Security Deposit  - Some holiday villas require deposit/damage guarantee amount which is paid or arrival and returned on departure after a checkout of the villa. 

Prices
We reserve the right to amend advertised prices at any time. We also reserve the right to correct errors in both advertised and confirmed prices. Special note: changes and errors sometimes occur.  You must check the price of your chosen arrangements at the time of booking.

By making a booking with us, you agree that:
a.    have read our Terms and Conditions and agree to be bound by them;
b.    are over 18 years of age and where placing an order for services with age restrictions you declare that you and all members of your party are of the appropriate age to purchase those services

Applicable Law and Jurisdiction  These terms and conditions and the provision of our services shall be governed and construed in accordance with the Laws of the Republic of Cyprus. In the event of any claim and or dispute arising out of these terms and conditions and or our services shall be exclusively submitted to the Courts of the Republic of Cyprus.
